Luxurious wine hotel, Hotel du Vin, Birmingham,  would like to offer an invitation to an evening to celebrate fine wines, from Journey’s End wines of South Africa, and excellent gourmet cuisine provided by the accomplished team of Hotel Du Vin, Birmingham.

Rollo Gabb, whose family owns Journey’s End Vineyard in Stellenbosch, along with much loved Wino Clive Dickinson of Classic wine Direct, Shropshire, have planed the evening so that each carefully selected food course will be matched to one or two Journey’s End award winning wines, along with a quick explanation from Rollo and Clive about the wines.
The Journeys End wines are enjoying international acclaim with several top London restaurants stocking them, including Gordon Ramsay at Claridges, L’Atelier, the National Portrait Gallery and Quo Vadis amongst many others. Mr Gabb is a well known figure in the wine world as part of the family which was behind the hugely successful importing company, Western Wines. The family bought the vineyard, which is in one of the most sought-after sub-districts of Stellenbosch in 1995 and it has since replanted the whole area with the finest cloned vines available.

Join Eat-the-Midlands at this very special event to be held THIS Thursday 11th November at Hotel Du Vin. Birmingham. The cost of the evening, including wines is only £55.00 per person (£44 for gourmetlife member) and the event starts at 8:00pm.
